Good point about Joomla. It is easy at first to integrate modules. I’ve found the API has evolved over the last few years which is cool to see it developing. I think the biggest downfall is there is only 2 main developers, who work part time. Joomla doesn’t appear to have any method to profit. WordPress on the other hand has a team of 40+ full time (I think) which enables it to be feature rich and simple for non technical people to administrate.
SilverStripe is my pick of choice at the moment. And maybe Magento, if I don’t need to do any custom work on it.
