Anna Rugis – Enviromusic
Enviromusic is the Anna Rugis concept album series for children. The first in this series Island Dreams has been released, and you can listen to three of the tracks here.
Island Dreams appeals to children but adults will enjoy it too – in fact I find myself returning to that page, and listening to track 10, again and again.
Anna Rugis has both the excellent voice and a sense of fun children can relate to, children can dance and sing along to, she has put her whole life into music, and quite a few years, composing, arranging, writing and recording this opus – for the kids. Her career in the 1960s as a backing vocalist for Cat Stevens, The Kinks, Cliff Richard and Van Morrison are the credentials she brings into the project.

You can now check out Enviromusic.co.nz with your kids.
The concept of her site is simple. Get Anna Rugis music out there – so that parents and teachers can start to use it in part and then buy the CDs which will be released one at a time on the site in coming months. She invites you to share, to enjoy and to buy her CDs which are reasonably priced and which are delivered by Starfish Software (sfsw.net).
Anna Rugis has created 6 CDs for children of various ages. These are intended to form a basis for school musical productions which explore environmental ideals positively and help children learn to care and communicate about the world they inherit.
The site is launched with the first CD, Island Dreams now released.
